The Elmo TNC4614X Color CCD Day and Night Video Camera is a simple, reliable, and highly economical solution for most basic remote monitoring needs. Designed to provide a high resolution in a compact frame, the Elmo TNC4614X has a day/night function that works very well in low-light conditions, making it perfect for security surveillance or any other situation requiring 24-hour monitoring of an area such as a room, hallway, or production or retail space.

This camera utilizes a 1/3-inch color interline-transfer EXview HAD CCD (charge-coupled device) sensor, with 768-by-494 effective pixels. The TNC4614X has a high resolution of 480 horizontal TVL (TV lines), and achieves a S/N (signal-to-noise) ratio of 50 dB or better. The TNC4614X is very sensitive to light, recording in color by day and in black and white at night, with a minimum illumination of 0.1 Lux. The Elmo TNC4614X is NTSC compatible, and includes a standard CS lens mount and a VBS (video burst sync) composite video-out connector. This unit is can operate on either 24-volts AC or 12-volts DC power, and can operate in temperatures ranging from -10 to 50-degrees Celsius. The TNC4614X comes complete with features such as AGC (automatic gain control), backlight control, automatic and manual white balance, and a built-in automatic electronic shutter.

The Elmo TNC4614X camera is a reliable and high-quality addition to any budget-conscious surveillance system. Designed primarily for indoor use, this unit includes a line-lock/internal sync system. User's should note that the CCD sensor may become permanently damaged if exposed to long hours of direct sunlight or halogen light, so the camera should not be mounted or pointed directly at the sun or other bright-light sources.
